That's a great point, Peter. I did not know of English's larger vocabulary. Yes, I've always thought that more carefully and uniquely chosen words can reveal not just ambiguity but subtlety, too.

E.g., "I love you" vs. "I adore you" reveals two different modes of experience, or moods, that I have towards you.
