Oh nice. I think that we have an obsession (at least here in the mental health professions in the US) with differentiating shame and guilt without address the structural aspects. I think Carveth addresses it well. Still need to think more about Lacans notion of guilt because I think it tends to fall more on the post-60s form I briefly mentioned.
